Most buyers today spend a lot of time on the internet looking at homes and getting information on the towns they're looking at well before they contact a realtor. This gives them the advantage of knowing what is out there and narrows down the search for what they like and don’t like. The realtor's job is to educate the buyer on what to expect in the marketplace. With the added confusion of short-sales, foreclosures, and bank-owned properties, this is no small task. As a REALTOR, I am experienced in these various areas and can provide the information the buyer needs to make an informed decision on the properties they're interested in. The most powerful tool I offer is a free MLS (Multiple Listing Service) search which allows my clients to view all the homes available to them.

So many options - How to choose?

With so many houses on the market today the biggest issue is choosing the right one. I ask buyers to write down a list of features they are looking for in a new home as well as the locations they would prefer to live. This helps give them a focus for their search and helps me guide them to properties that are ideally suited for them.

For first-time buyers entering into the real estate market, it is important to have a realtor to guide and provide all the information needed in the purchase of a new home, such as explaining the benefits of using a home inspector in order to discover any potentially hazardous issues in a home being bought, protecting the buyer from getting into a property that needs more work and money than they are willing to spend.

I also provide a list of knowledgeable and professional mortgage brokers and real estate lawyers to facilitate in the purchase of thier new home, so there will be no surprises at the closing.
